Pretty sure me and only 4 other people are excited about this… but! The “greens” on Polk across from the shelter between Geary & Post have been paved over. The tiny, poorly lit sidewalk that was half the size of most sidewalks in the city is now about a quarter foot wider. Hooray! I’m sure the wheelchair-bound are more pleased about this than me.
